Job Advertisement: Research Trainee (Economics / Finance)

We are looking for a Research Trainee (Economics / Finance) leading to a full-time position with a background in Economics or Finance (master’s level) to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research on financial modelling and financial analysis for energy transition and green markets.

Key qualifications:

• Conduct financial modelling and quantitative analysis related to renewable energy investments, green financing, and energy transition strategies.
• Support research on policy frameworks, market trends, and investment risks in sustainable energy markets.
• Assist in drafting reports, briefs, and presentations for stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, and development partners.

Qualifications & Skills::

• Preferably master’s degree (or currently pursuing) or at least bachelors in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, risk assessment, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Experience with energy finance, carbon markets, or renewable energy investments is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python, R, or other financial analysis tools.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
