Job Advertisement: Energy and Climate Finance Analyst
PRIED is seeking a skilled and motivated Energy and Finance Analyst to join our team. If you have a strong background in finance and also have strong understanding of economy, energy, and climate, please send your cv to us.
The work will be projects based as well as require ability to respond to urgent policy level and economic developments. Therefore, in addition to project related deliverables, the incumbent will also be required to work on discussion papers, briefs, presentations, and position papers as and when needed. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working for public interest and has a serious understanding of development finance. The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment are essential qualities that we are looking for.- Terminal degree preferably in development finance or economics with a focus on finance.
- Undergraduate degree with major in economics/finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in energy, climate and data analytics.
- Solid understanding of the economic and financial impacts of energy transition and climate change.
- Strong understanding of local and international energy and climate finance actors and mechanisms.
- Strong professional and academic writing skills.
- Strong data analysis skills, having the ability to work with large datasets.
