Job Advertisement: Energy and Climate Finance Analyst
    Location: Islamabad
      PRIED is seeking a skilled and motivated Energy and Finance Analyst to join our team. If you have a strong background in finance and also have strong understanding of economy, energy, and climate, please send your cv to us. The job will require the ability to respond to rapid policy developments at national, regional and global levels. The ideal candidate should be able to understand and analyze policy changes and policy alternatives at the confluence of energy, economy, climate and finance. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working for public interest and has a serious understanding of development finance. The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment are essential qualities that we are looking for.
        Key requirements:
        • Terminal degree either in development finance or economics with a focus on finance.
        • Undergraduate degree with major in economics/finance.
        • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in energy, climate and data analytics.
        • Solid understanding of the economic and financial impacts of energy transition and climate change.
        • Strong understanding of national, regional and international energy and climate finance actors and mechanisms.
        • Strong professional and academic writing skills.
        • Strong data analysis skills, especially the ability to work with large datasets.
