Job Advertisement: Data Analyst
    Location: Islamabad
      PRIED is looking for a highly skilled and publicly motivated data analyst who can work on subjects related to energy and climate sectors. If you have a strong educational background in data analytics and have a serious interest in economy, energy, climate and finance, please send your cv to us. The work will require the ability to analyze policy changes and quick developments in the energy and climate sectors. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data analytics and familiarity with all the relevant softwares. They should also be able to work in team settings and develop discussion papers, policy briefs, presentations, and other research materials on a short notice.         Key Responsibilities
        • Plan and implement field surveys and data collection activities for PRIED’s energy and climate-related projects.
        • Design and develop sampling design and survey methodology in coordination with PRIED’s other staff members.
        • Carry out data cleaning, processing, and organization of raw primary data for research and analysis.
        • Conduct descriptive and advanced statistical analysis of the primary survey data.
        • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from datasets relevant to PRIED’s research and advocacy objectives.
        • Prepare visually appealing and easily comprehensible tables, charts, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
        • Actively contribute towards the drafting of research reports, briefs, and presentations alongside the research team.
        • Ensure data quality during fieldwork and post-collection stages.
        • Any other tasks assigned by the management and the supervisor.
        Qualifications
        • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Sciences/Analytics or related field.
        • Familiarity with econometric tools, survey design methodologies, data analysis and data visualization.
